I ordered the Clairefontaine spiral bound French Ruled paper off Amazon today. I would really find it helpful to see you actually writing with the French ruled paper in cursive. Thank you for the inspiration! Lisa

I think those of us who are old enough to have been taught cursive handwriting in grammar school were ripped off. This paper would have made learning cursive so much easier and, more beautiful in my opinion! I need one of these pads in my life! Great job @Boho Berry Thank you very much! Lisa

I've been using Moleskine notebooks for over 20 years as my primary work notebook. I love it's form factor, compact, plenty of pages, and cool minimalistic look and feel. I switched over to Leuchtturm about 7 years ago, because of it's fountain pen friendly paper, no ink bleeding through the paper. I do find it a little bulkier than the Moleskine A5 size, but you do get about 60 more pages (249 vs 192) which is a nice bonus. I think the Leuchtturm is a better value too. With Moleskine, I found Montblanc permanent black and blue fountain pen ink works well with the paper. No bleed through and feathering. I wonder if Montblanc developed their permanent ink with Moelskine in mind. I wish Moleskine would improve it's paper, then I would come back.

I've added a photo of a photo printed by the printer to show the quality. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx-p39-0aeo2zzlTJzXhwlZ_zUNm1lnIci Many reviews complain about the heavy yellow tone of printed photos; avoid this by editing your photos towards the blue end of the temperature spectrum. I also suggest increasing the exposure a little when editing because photos will print a little dark if you do not.If you follow these steps to edit your photos prior to printing, your photos will look too bright and too blue on your phone but they will print perfectly.Highly recommend!

That’s a cool looking planner notebook you’re giving away! I love the color of the cover. I am using a few different planners. I have a monthly five year planner for planning out releases. And I have A5 ring binder that I think I’ll be doing checklists in for goals but not super happy with the inserts I got. And I also have weekly checklist pages undated from happy planner. And also I have my stalogy notebook as a journal and oh my I guess I also have a bullet journal that I’m not sure what I’ll be using it for. I’ve tried going digital and I’ve tried doing everything in one planner and neither way was working for me.

Great review - love it. I almost feel that a fairer comparison would be the Metropolitan with the Safari as they are closer in price. Then the difference in quality for the same price becomes apparent with the Metropolitan definitely superior (my opinion). But I get that you wanted to compare two metal versions. I love the Metropolitans, they are such good quality for the price. My first Lamy was a horrible pen, had serious ink floe problems so I never got into them. But I just ordered an Al-Star and wanted to have another go at them, hopefully I am as happy with it as most people seem to be. Thanks for your video - loved it.

I really like how you teach! I wish you’d put out more videos. I did have a question about alpha lock. If you are on one layer and then alpha lock another layer how can you draw on a different layer? Lol.

In Spencerian, the initial upstroke of lowercase p also goes to the t-d line. Also, your majuscules are gorgeous. 😍
